Can good wordout reduce cellulite?

Well there is a lot of information about cellulite reduction and a lot of people believe different things as different solutions are more suited to certain lifestyles and situations. A few people opt for surgical treatments which in our opinion is extreme and only people with serious cellulite problems should consider this.

Other people prefer to use new cellulite creams and special scientific ointment solutions that are available nowadays, some of these new ointments are very effective in helping to reduce fat cells and firm and tone the skin.

And some think that natural methods are effective, which include good exercise programs. In this article we would like to emphasize the importance of good exercise. Exercise can burn away excess fat that has led to a cellulite problem as well as helping to tone and firm the problem areas of the body helping the skin regain its flexibility.

You can do simple workout routines such as walking, jogging, swimming, and/or aerobics, lifting weights or doing other harder exercises such as push ups or running. Cardiovascular exercise routines are the most effective at reducing fat where as anaerobic workouts are great to target and tone the cellulite problem areas.

List of workout routines to help reduce cellulite

1.) Walking or slow Jog - A basic exercise to start with to get your body warmed up and used to a continuous movement. This helps to start the burning of excess calories and then fat once you are warmed up. This exercise will benefit the legs and thigh and is a good start for people not used to normal exercise and with cellulite in those areas. If you can improve the pace and try to build up a sweat and every time you have a sessions try to push yourself a little harder.

Walking, slow jogging & using the stepper or cross trainer in the gym are good for targeting cellulite on the legs, thighs, and bum.

2.) Swimming - is outstanding as swimming helps to tone virtually all of the muscles in your body which in turn will help to ease and reduce cellulite. Also you can perform various strokes and styles to suit your level of experience and fitness levels. Swimming is also fun for many people and as such not thought of as a hard exercise but you will be amazed at how effective it really is.

Swimming is good for targeting cellulite on the stomach and upper part of the body.

3.) Jogging & Running with interval workouts - similar to walking but more intense and designed for those of you which are fitter. Jogging and running will help you get rid of fat and strengthen muscles not just in your legs and thighs but also your core muscles and combined with other exercise to target particular areas of the body like ab crunches and sit ups for your stomach and lunges for your legs for example is an effective way to target specific cellulite problems areas.

I.e. go for a Jog around a park say 2 - 5 Kilometres (depending on your health and fitness levels) and at every corner stop and do some push ups, ab crunches, lunges or other exercise designed to target the areas of the body you want to tone.

4.) Specific firming exercises. Sports, & activities - based on where your cellulite is will depend on the type of exercise you should perform and to make your exercise more fun instead of dull boring repetitive routines then we recommend you try sports. To reduce cellulite on the upper part of your body may be try boxing (boxercise) body pump (gym work out routines) & rowing for instance.

Of course a lot of sports activities involve running around which is great for the legs and thighs as well as the stomach and central core muscles so you will want to try tennis, badminton, volleyball, ice skating, Rolla skating, or any martial arts or self defence to name a few…

Long story short, choose an workout that you enjoy and can perform with your own personal fitness level and which will focus on the cellulite problem area, then get active…
